The 3Com 100 Secure Fiber-FX NIC is designed for Windows 2000 or XP environments that require end-to-end security and high-performance transmissions. This revolutionary 100BASE-FX link combines the performance of Fast Ethernet over fiber-optic cabling with the data security of IPSec. Fiber cabling is ideal for locations where electrical interference is a problem or for time-sensitive transmissions, such as voice and video.
